Verify before you install
A wallet is exactly what impersonators target with fake installers. Two checks keep you safe.
The only real download lives at blochisland.com. Ignore any DMG in a reply, DM, or ad — even if it uses our name and logo. We will never DM you first or ask for your seed phrase.
In Terminal, run shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Blochisland.dmg and confirm it matches:
Checksums update with every release. If yours doesn’t match, delete the file.
Your key never leaves your Mac. Back it up when the island tells you to — it is the wallet.
